Vancouver Foie Gras Restaurants Very Rattled by Animal Defense Lobby!

Activists told two Vancouver restaurants that forcing mush down the throats of helpless geese with steel pipes several times a day, until the esophagus is injured and organs deformed, is an unnecessarily cruel way to produce food (foie gras). Here is how the manager responded at Lumiere Restaurant (2552 W Broadway):

"You guys are a bunch of fags." "If I wanted to get rid of you, I'd just get my kitchen staff to come out here in plain clothes and beat the shit out of you." Someone's definitely getting rattled by animal defenders! (Good work, Animal Defense League.) Obviously animal-victimizers' behaviour is part of a larger pattern of behaviour towards sentient beings.
